Record shopping in San Francisco

San Francisco crate-digging still runs through the Haight — Amoeba's original warehouse-sized location — but the Mission and Richmond keep the independents alive: punk history at 1-2-3-4 Go!, dance floors of used house 12"s, and Japanese pressings that came home with generations of collectors.

What diggers say

This place is a heaven for a person like me who is an audiophile 🥹 Not exaggerating but they have everything here. I was not expecting to find kpop here, and look what I got!!! **Amortage by Jisoo** This place is amazing, I am gonna go there every month just to buy new CDs.

I am Korean. I was really impressed with this place that I happened to find. A small neighborhood bookstore serves as a hub for many people. I was only Asian and young and traveler. So it was unfamiliar, but there is warmth, the smell of books and music are in harmony.

This is a lovely little kpop shop! The staff are super knowledgable and passionate about all things kpop, and even host card swaps and partner with other kpop communities in SF for events. The staff are very kind, and helped me reserve a TWICE Candy Bong Z (lightstick) for the Encore shows in LA.
