I am Korean. I was really impressed with this place that I happened to find. A small neighborhood bookstore serves as a hub for many people. I was only Asian and young and traveler. So it was unfamiliar, but there is warmth, the smell of books and music are in harmony.
I love this bookstore. Every time I pass by there’s something interesting going on. They have jazz, poetry and of course a large book selection! People here are super friendly. They really have a sense of community and they welcomed us to their neighborhood right away.
Is it unfair to rate a bookstore that I've only visited after hours? Not if it's to review world-class jazz at said bookstore! My wife & I saw the Joe McKinley quartet last week and it was a fantastic experience.
