I found a stack of fantastic soul 45s in this shop, a few of which have become my favorite songs in my collection. Don’t let the small size of the store fool you. They have a wonderful selection, especially if you’re looking for new and used hip hop and world music. Very friendly and welcoming staff.
I was in Chicago for the weekend and happened to stumble across this shop after grabbing some tacos. I’m not yet into buying or even playing records but i’m very much interested and the lady at the shop was so so helpful. She answered all me questions giving me great recommendations on what to do. Definitely recommend!
a must visit! they have an amazing selection of records, an interesting selection of literature (i had to buy a book, cool stuff) and a cute puppy at the entrance :) they played records while I was there, creating a fun atmosphere as I browsed through their selections. I’ll definitely be back.
