Chicago has great records shops and I frequent many of them. But what sets this record shop apart from the others is, Drew. He’s the owner of 606 records and I had the pleasure of meeting him. It’s lovely to witness someone taking pride in what they do and provide you with quality customer service, every single time.
Nice little shop with a very knowledgable & friendly owner. While I was in the store he helped several women find just the right record for one of their brother’s birthday gifts. He’s got a nice selection of genres (not much blues, which is what I look for) but lots of “bargain bins” to dig through.
Drew is the man! Set up my sound system in my man cave in Iowa! He knows his music and is a solid dude. 606 will always have my business. Ya’ll betta recognize!
606 Records has a great selection of new and used records. The focus on smaller and local record labels is awesome. Drew is always happy to help and more than accommodating. He's always got something interesting playing in the store and if you ask him about it he's excited to tell you about.
