I visited recently after not having come here since college, some nearly twenty years ago. The selection is great in-store, but even broader on discogs. Lots of great rock, jazz, pop, metal, obscure stuff and everything in between. Solid selection of both new and used.
Simple fact. Rushmor beside being Milwaukee's longest running record store, are hands down the best record store! From metal to hip hop and rock to prog these guys either have it or can get it. Having been all over the Midwest I can honestly say that when it comes to imports they have the best selection I've ever seen.
Super cool place for people who love analog music! You can tell that it's been around a long time, and that the owner loves being here. Not a real big place, so be prepared to get a little close with your fellow vinyl collectors.
Fun store but very loud. Nothing was categorized like most other record shops. Just in alphabetical order from what I saw. If you don’t know the artist name you want to buy, you’re going to have a hard time locating it here. I’m new to vinyl and like browsing genre sections.
