Magical place coming out of the dreams of a bookworm. I truly and utterly loved this place. So many books on so many genres and lots and lots of hidden gems like paintings and pictures. If you are a book enthusiast and love a good old-fasioned book store with a care free cat this is the place for you.
Beautiful book store! There were SO many books to choose from. They were organized rather well, but some sections could use some clarifications as far as author last name section. The books were divided by genres, and then most sections had an a-z description from there. Good prices, too!
Walking into Downtown Books felt like walking into a dream, the kind of place where stories aren’t just on the shelves, but in the air. This independent bookstore in the heart of Milwaukee completely stole my heart.
A wonderful gem of a used bookstore. It's almost perfect. Tall stacks that require a ladder to reach the top. Isles that are just narrow enough. They might not have the exact thing you came for but everyone can leave with an amazing find.
