What customers say
Wow! What a lovely spot. Great selection, especially in the jazz bins, really good prices, and ready to do a deal. The $2 records were particularly solid, and at 3/$5 you can’t beat it anywhere in the 5 boroughs, and maybe the tri-state area. On top of all that, the Shop had just the perfect vibe.
This place is the best - always playing the best music, always an amazing selection, and always the best vibes. Bene has introduced me to a variety of local musicians by way of the cassette tapes he sells, and they are all special. This record shop is full of treasures.
A wonderful record store that exemplifies the community spirit of Red Hook. Amazing ambience from the background music. I asked if they had any Vince Guaraldi Trio records and within minutes I had one in my hand. I then checked out their extensive but highly curated book section.
An excellent out of the way shop. Top-notch curated collection on the floor. Books too. And all for more-than-fair prices. You feel like you’re getting away with something. The owner Bene is real mensch and creates a positive atmosphere full of humor. A great place to exist.
