Black Gold Records

Definitely among the coolest coffeehouses I’ve experienced in Brooklyn. A crackling phonograph Lightening Hopkins blues record entranced me while I sipped a New Orleans iced almond milk latte with simple syrup.

These guys are that rare and unique needle-in-a-haystack find in a world usually dominated by snobbery. Their interest in talking about what they do, with anyone and everyone, is only matched by their incredibly vast knowledge of their business.

Nice small record store with a nice selection and fairly priced. I always stop by when I’m in the neighborhood and always find some nice stuff! Support local businesses. We need more store like this! If u r in the area, it’s worth stopping by. They have great coffee too!

The coffee and tea are remarkable, as well as impeccable service. Even though God knows I do not need any more records, sometimes I see something that I just really want! Also, [just recently] shaved head dude is probably one of the best dudes to ever do it, along w every person that may be working here.
