Kiss the Sky

Kiss the Sky is a treasure trove for music enthusiasts and vinyl collectors alike! I'm just barely dipping my toes into the world of vinyl, and I feel like this place is a must visit!

I’m a college student living in Chicago now, but I grew up in Batavia. I visit Kiss The Sky any chance I get. Don’t get me wrong - I love living downtown and going to record stores down there, but there’s something about Kiss The Sky that set my expectations high for other establishments.

When you step into the building you jaw immediately hits the ground, its such an incredible sight and wonderfully decorated. Ontop of that the layout is very simple and there’s so many collections of records, cds, and cassettes. The best part is checking out and having I believe the owner be the person to do so.

Hands down my favorite record store in the suburbs and have been going there for a few years now at this point. Super diverse selection from pop to hip-hop, metal, country, dance, folk, anything you could ask for. Prices are basically what you would be paying online so why not support some local business.
