Horders Trading Post in St. Charles is one of my favorite record spots. Russell, the owner, is a great guy—always friendly and easy to talk with. I’ve bought many records here, and every one of them has been excellent. Most recently, I picked up a copy of The Beatles’ Sgt.
Pretty good little place. Like other music joints, kinda lacking organization, not any one working besides the guy behind the counter. The usual. Unfortunately if you aren't looking for vinyl this isn't the place for you. Not a wide selection of c d's and tapes. Lots of vinyl though! Some rare ones.
Hoarders Trading Post is one of the best in the business and a pleasure to work with! Russ has been fair to me consistently over multiple sales, trades, and purchases. A few years ago Russ gifted me a Technics turntable when I was severely sick, so I had something nice to spin albums on during recovery. Thank you Russ!
Always well stocked with stuff for every budget. Rare vinyl section gets replenished often. Tons of new vinyl, a lot of which are already OOP. Some days I just go in to browse, some days I go a little nuts and fill my bags. The owner is very knowledgeable and communicative.
