Jeff the owner offered to sell me an awesome turntable at an incredible price since the lid was broken, and even gave me a list of brands to check out as someone new to the hobby.
My favorite record store without a shadow of a doubt - Geoff is absolutely class act with an encyclopedic knowledge of dance music and an insane amount of care for his customers.
So this is kind of a hidden gem in an underrated area of the east/north side in Madison. Very unassuming from the street, but if you follow the stairs, you will pop out in a very cool little space. The night I popped in, there was someone doing some live dj-ing and it actually sounded pretty good.
