Wax Moon Vinyl and Video

I had to delete my last review because it was under the wrong account. But I don't mind reviewing Wax Moon again! It's a great store. Every time I've been in there they have been playing loud classic horror movies for background noise instead of music. It's a nice touch!

I've been hitting up Wax Moon since they were at their original location on Leigh, and it's been amazing to see how this store has grown in just a few years. What started with a smattering of metal and post-punk records has evolved into rows of vinyl spanning all genres; full racks of t-shirts, posters, and decals;…

One of the true hidden gems in RVA. A true multimedia experience. Can't recommend enough, especially if you're into vinyls. Great Laserdisc selection too. Get your VHS and cassettes here as well! It's really a one stop shop for all that rad retro media.

Great shop for all things music, merch, and beyond. One of the only places you can get records, clothing, posters, and vintage Nintendo games all in one place. Go now! There's even a cat!
