Deep Groove Records

a really great store. they stock mostly rock, but i also noticed some pop, jazz and soul. all the records are in basically perfect condition, and some are even sealed. the owner (i assume he’s the owner) is super nice, and he has a really friendly dog that walks around and everything. anyway i definitely recommend!

A great little long standing local record shop in Richmond Owner Jay and his crew are so nice and they always offer great prices on new and used vinyl. It is a rather small and cozy shop, but I always seem to find lots sweet deals. Check them out, I promise you, you will not be disappointed.

I came here straight after going to plan 9, and even though plan 9 has more overall records, the selection here is much better. I found an original of 2112 and I almost cried. I will be coming here instead of plan 9, it's just more personal.

Visiting from out of town, I stopped by and left with some gems. The shop has a welcoming vibe, with a layout and selection that feels carefully curated. The shop clerk even shared some local tips when I asked about local dinner spots. One of those tips, Kuba-Kuba, turned out to be exactly the right call for dinner.
