Okay- let me get something off my chest, this record store isn't that good of a record store- it's the best! I walked in there the other day and was greeted with a "Welcome to Waiting Room!" and a smile from one of the kind people behind the desk.
On a break from working my wife's tent at the Sugar Creek Arts Festival during an unseasonably hot October Sunday afternoon, I decided to drop in this shop to check out the stock, and to be honest, take in some free air conditioning. I was met immediately with a "Howdy!
I can honestly say this is my favorite record shop I've ever been to. I live 2 and a half hours away so I can't come as often as I wish. When I do get to go they always have albums that I just can't find anywhere else. Things that are hard to come by even online. It's always well organized and priced as well.
I ordered from Waiting Room Records online and had a great experience. I was looking for a limited pressing Jason Molina record and couldn’t find it where I live. No shops in town had it, and I was hesitant to pay 2-3x retail for it from an online reseller.
