Best record store in the midwest? I made a point to stop here on my way back to Chicago from the driftless region in WI and I'm so glad I did. Where other shops fall short, Toad Hall excels in flying colors. Deep selection, fair pricing, stocking refurbished stereo equipment, helpful and courteous owner and staff.
You know how you usually arrive at a record shop and the owners/clerk are often a bunch of grumps? Not here! Anette could not have been nicer as she gave me the $3 tour of the place which is huge. I wish I would have had more time to browse but I still found some gems and the prices are reasonable.
