At age 14 in 1990 I first stepped into this heavy metal menagerie of terrifying punk rock posters , Eddie Pilgrim Iron Maiden patches and rows of cluttered jewels of rock n roll products . Vinyls and bootlegs only read of in pre internet age there to at least see if not buy .
Best record store around - Anthony and crew (Skye etc) are just real great people. Genuinely love what they do. Prices are superb and so many hidden gems. Something new and interesting every time I go in. CD selection for used/new/imports is next level.
When my son started his vinyl collection recently we went on an adventure to every record store in the state. Either it was an ancient hard to sift through museum of music or a too perfect FYE experience. Sound Exchange though was the perfect hybrid of easy to find eclectic variety of music.
It does not get any better than this. The staff is simply extremely knowledgeable, and some of the friendliest, nicest people you will ever be. The owners are great. Tremendous amount of records, CDs and more. This is definitely the place to go to for all of your musical needs.
