First visited this store last year hunting for records. As a vinyl collector and DJ with a taste for more underground sounds... The selection at this shop is among the best I have ever found, even having been lucky enough to pick through bins in Europe and Asia.
Great record shop specializing in house, techno, and also with a fair share of Balearic/Modern funk music on vinyl. Reasonable prices for used records and also a nice selection of new. Lots of new records coming in all the time.
This spot is pretty much my favorite record store on the West Coast. If you care at all about underground dance music and DJ culture, Sherman is your man to go to--he's plugged into the latest local releases from selectors and labels that you should care about.
Amazing experience at Selector! Sherman is a wealth of knowledge, super helpful with finding music and a great host! I was in Seattle on a business trip so they shipped my records to me. They all arrived in pristine shape. Will definitely visit again...
