SCARCE-LY Used Books & Records

Love this bookstore, worth the drive from the south loop in rush hour! The prices/deals are amazing and I love they also had plants for sale! I don’t mind wearing masks when asked and actually appreciate the consideration for the many educators that shop here.

I really enjoyed my experience in the store and at SCARCE in general. I happened to go while they were holding a garden market event, so not only did I get a few books, a few CDs, and a record for $10 as part of their sale for that day, but I also got to learn about their environmental work, which was really cool.

This place is a hidden gem for media lovers. They have a great selection of records and CDs, as well as DVDs and books. The priced are very reasonable. They may not have everything you're looking for, but that's the fun of used record stores.

Excellent site for used books, CDs, and Vinyls. This place is much better than 4.1 stars at the time of posting. Too bad the anti maskers from Covid era bring down overall rating.
