Salty Dog Records Sarasota

My friends and I lined up early for Record Store Day this year and ended up being first in line:) the owner and team were so nice and made sure we were okay the whole time. We’ve been doing this for 3 years with this shop and this has got to be the best so far.

I was looking for record stores near me and this was the closest one. Took about a 30-min drive to get here and it was so worth it. The store is nicely kept, small and cozy, with very organized products. The owner even helped me find a blink-182 vinyl to add to my collection which was super nice.

I only stopped in for a moment but was amazed. The shop was welcoming, clean and organized and we were greeted when walking in. I entered the shop on a whim to ask if they had anything by a specific artist I was looking for. I was not expecting it to be there and - to my surprise - they actually had one!

This place was fantastic! Even though they are transitioning to a new store, the owner was super helpful with finding records, great to talk to, and generally a very nice person. The store is well organized and full of character and decorations. We would highly recommend this store for any record-seeking person.
