Rocket Number Nine Records

It's not often you walk into a store and faced with the option of buying not only one, but two Michael Hurley records, one John Fahey record, or a dollar bin Canned Heat. Record Number Nine is THE Hudson Valley record store, and I often wonder why I even contemplate turning off 87' an exit earlier.

Best Record Shop in the Hudson Valley. Friendly, helpful service. New Arrivals bin sees quick turnaround on the best stuff, so important to check frequently. Solid rock, blues and jazz sections. Great 4 for $10 bins and $1 bins for the bargain hunter and good prices on stuff that goes for more.

I have traveled all around the world and this is hands down one of the best record stores I've ever been to. The selection never disappoints! They always have the records you wanted to buy elsewhere but where usually waaaay too over priced. HERE THO the PRICE IS RIGHT!

Great “hole-in-the-wall” shop and one of my favorites . No price gouging, good broad selection. No bowling, no cocktail mixologists on site, no gourmet Sammys or attractions, just an old school record shop doing the lord’s work lol. The vinyl is the star of the show. Full salute 🫡
