After one visit, my conclusion is that Rhino Records is one of my favorite stores in the world. Like the other reviews here note, it has stellar curation of music, books, and comics. I went in to poke around the vinyl selection but wound up spending a long time perusing the store's great comic book selection.
Went there for the first time and will not be my last. Rick the gentlemen behind the counter was extremely knowledgeable in all forms of music. Prices extremely reasonable. So happy I went. Remember support local vinyl shops and avoid Walmart and Target for your vinyl needs
Rhino Records in Kingston, NY is a spot my friend who is a local told me I had to check out. She knows that I'm into eclectic and obscure records, jazz, afro-beat, punk, funk, etc. so I decided to check it out.
Small well arranged book and music store. Not a wide selection but a well chosen selection laid out well for browsing. Not expensive, and some bargains (a must for any store selling used stuff, in my opinion). Have to give this 5 stars for staying in business selling books CDs and records, hang in there Rhino Records!
