Prospector Records

Great little record store with mostly used records. It has good variety, $1-$2 record bins, and some rare records that run into the hundreds. Fair selection of jazz records. The owner seems to have a good feel for what he has, and he buys records. I bought about 10 records my first time in there.

If you look closely enough, you'll find this fascinating little hole-in-the-wall record & vintage store nestled in the corner at 70th & Foster. Solid selection of classic albums available (60s, 70s, 80s mainly) as well as rare shirts and other pop culture novelties. Check it out!

Nice clean and bright store on a very nice block of Division Street. My record collecting buddy, a vinyl aficionado, spent 90 minutes browsing the store’s inventory, which he rated as FAIR.
