THE best Criterion selection in Nashville, but I never purchase any there because they are priced about 20% higher than you can score them for during the regular Criterion/B&H sales.
I'm from the Chicagoland area & came into Nashville to visit friends. No matter where I go, I always look for cd stores. My friends daughter told me about Phonoluxe. I hit the mother load!! I definitely recommend this place. There is parking behind the store. First of all, the cd's are all waist high.
The people that have always worked here are seasoned music people and have been involved as musicians and record retailing people for decades. The owner Mike is as solid of a fella as you could ever want to meet. This store is so well curated for the enthusiast.
Fantastic place. Guys are super friendly and helpful. There is a huge selection of ads, vinyl, and cassettes. Pricing is reasonable. Be prepared to be pocketbook hurt! Will definitely visit again. Last of record store trip to Nashville and worth thr 3 hour drives.
