A lovely eclectic used books and record store. I did like the record selection better than the books (which are mostly recent trade paperbacks). I picked up a few hard to find early 2000s LPs. The prices are pretty good.
A Newtown institution! The NBRE has a great used book selection and is a top notch spot to find some new or used vinyl gems. Nice selection of whatever you’re looking for music-wise: rock, jazz, pop, punk, indie, blues, etc. Very cool vintage vibes inside and a very helpful and friendly staff.
I’ve been collecting vinyl records my whole life and have shopped for records all over the world. I have honestly never come across a shop so unique and full of high quality content. Chelsea single handedly inspects, cleans and listens to every single used vinyl that comes her way before putting it in the bins.
