While in high school and college in the early 90s, this was one of my go-to places to get music. I was very happy to see Positively is still there and going strong without a lot of changes since I used to visit back in the day. They still have a great selection of many different music styles.
Positively Records absolutely lived up to its name. I'm visiting from California and stopped in last week with my son, and we were immediately struck by the great vibe of the shop and the genuinely positive people running it. Super welcoming, no pretension, just real love for music. The clientele was friendly too.
Positively records is definitely a great place to go if you're looking for vinyl. They do have a very small selection of books and DVDs but they are of good quality.We also found their selection was quite broad especially in the classic music genre. The prices we're good.
Love this place been coming for years. I was in a pinch not too long ago and needed some money, I sold some of my records and cds and got a decent amount of cash for them. It was sad cause my personal attachment to them but I couldn’t think of a better place for them.
