I dropped in for the first time today not knowing what to expect, and found a great addition to the collective of record stores already in the Chicago area. There's a fun & welcoming vibe to the place as soon as you walk in.
A Hidden Gem for Vinyl Lovers and Vibe Seekers – Miyagi Records is a Treasure Walking into Miyagi Records feels like stepping into a perfectly curated blend of nostalgia, soul, and sonic discovery. This isn't just a record store—it's a community space, a cultural archive, and a vibe all its own.
Just moved to the city. This is by far the best record shop in Chicago if you are into Funk, Soul, Jazz, Disco, House, Electro, and Hiphop. Its a beat-makers paradise here! I will keep coming back here. Great staff, lots of hidden gems everywhere man, it’s great!
