If you are looking for vinyl, whether just getting into it or old pro, you need to stop in at Max J Records in Fairhaven. Max J’s has a great selection from Classic Rock and Reggae to Blues, Jazz, Country, etc. including vintage vinyl, new releases, 45s, and CDs.
My personal favorite record store. If I could give 6 stars, I would! :) I have been to many places, but this will always be my go-to shop. The most pleasant employees, especially John, help me every time I pay a visit.
Always good to see Joao and Teresa. I need to get by there more often! Love local businesses and glad to see vinyl making a comeback. Their knowledge of the industry and product makes them an essential resource for beginners as well as serious collectors.
Hands down the best record store on the south coast. I feel like there’s a common flaw in a lot of us who collect vinyl and it’s super present in a lot of record stores. It’s a superiority complex.
