Great shop and great staff. Grateful they’re my go to as I’m local. They did an amazing job with the set up on my both my 6 and 12 string Gretsch and have been more than generous and helpful with some guitar consignment. And I love seeing all the pictures of Pete Seeger in the shop. Highly recommended!

Great store to buy new or old guitars. Had the pleasure of meeting the owner and was very happy to hear about his enthusiasm regarding guitars. This is the kind of store I've been looking for! Great deals on guitars, they also repair them here! And lots of other instruments to tinker with too.

I did not buy an instrument but I did buy vinyl.....and I had lost an item in the store. When I got home I found out that Dave in the store found it and tried to locate me.....long story short I was reunited with my items because of the kindness of the people in Jakes Main Street.

You know that feeling when you stumble upon a shop you’re just so thankful exists? This was that place. The employees were friendly, down-to-earth, not intimidating and genuinely helpful without being pushy. I was especially thrilled to find some cuillères from my neck of the woods for sale.
