I'm a professional organizer and have a client- a former nightclub owner- who wanted to dramatically downsize his 3k+ piece collection. In my role, I'm always careful to make sure to engage the most respectable, reputable, authoritative people to value my clients' property.

Had collected a large number of old records, sitting in storage collecting dust. I contacted Hudson Valley Vinyl to come take a look at buying them. The owner came in person to look at everything. Super friendly and accommodating, he was honest about the value and offered me cash on the spot.

I sold several hundred albums to Hudson Valley Vinyl. It was a great experience. They came to my house, reviewed what I had, and offered me a very fair price that demonstrated expertise and fairness. The whole thing took less than an hour.

While traveling to Beacon NY, I stumbled upon this record store. While not the largest of record stores, the selection and quality of their product was great and surely made up for size! I went in just to puruse and kill some time. I left filling some nice gaps in my collection.
