I spent many hours in here, looking at everything over & over, unearthing real gems! what a great place, the last of the late great old timey record stores. I really love Jack's Record Cellar & I am old enough to remember the old man who ran the place. I'm glad this place is still here, that gives me a smile.
Was just here on Saturday, 9/7/2024, and Walt and his friends are doing great! He said he is open only on Saturdays now from 1 to 7, and he has an amazing selection of records! I got a great deal on some old jazz classics and I cant wait to go back in a few months. Thanks Walt and Jeff!
I just visited Jack's Record Cellar this past Saturday, 9/7/24, and it was fantastic and I can't wait to go back! Wade is the owner and told me he is open on Saturdays from 1pm-7pm, and he has very many classic used records for me to dig through, and I was in paradise!
Some of the friendliest staff around with great recommendations about where to shop everywhere around SF, plus cheap prices and a HUGE collection. Definitely no attitude and definitely worth visiting :)
