As a vinyl lover from Asia, visiting Generation Records felt like stepping into paradise. It’s hard to find such a well-stocked collection of American pop vinyls — even in cities like Tokyo, most used vinyl records stores lean heavily toward metal, rock, or jazz. But here, I found tons of 80s U.S.
This place is great and a must stop if your a record junkie and in the new york, New York area. It has two stories of used and new records of every genre. The staff is extremely helpful as well. I had asked the guy if he could put a record on so I can see what it was like and he did with no hesitation.
A great record store in Manhattan,I was looking for a couple of rare vinyl records and I was lucky enough to find one of them: George Duke's Brazilian Affair. The staff was very helpful during my visit. I've also got Blondie's Rapture 7" edition.
Vintage record store one of the best I have been. Great stuff plus great staff. Felt like the 90s. Two floors of pure gold. Bought Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd. I will definitely will stop in my next visit.
