Stranded Records NYC

A small but nice record shop. Should be noted that google maps called it Good Records, but they are called Stranded Records now. Took me less than an hour to look through it all, however they had many very rare records that I had never seen before. Owner was very nice and helpful.

Reasonable prices with a great selection of soul + jazz! Found some spiritual jazz records I adore (Pharoah Sanders, Makaya Mccraven, etc.) Was able to get through most of the crates within a reasonable time, the staff is also super chilled + friendly. Highly recommend this spot for digging! Will be back.

Cane here on a Sunday. Quiet, chill, and they usually have what you need but I would highly recommend you check the site first. I tried calling but didn't get a pick up. Luckily they are open most days - even Sundays minus some holidays.

Beautifully curated…. And you’ll always find surprises. The stellar staff are welcoming and will spin whatever piques your interest and don’t hold back sharing their enthusiasm for fav records. Daniel in particular is a sweetheart and always a pleasure.
