Byrdland Record Store – Union Market, Washington, DC Byrdland is a gem of a record store located In the Union Marketplace. For its size, it has a plethora of used records, tee-shirts, and some books. I enjoyed the layout of the store that showcased antique radios and a novelty recording studio.
This vinyl record store holds a special place in our hearts. My husband and I created some of our fondest memories here during the early days of our relationship. The store has an amazing selection of music, a warm, aesthetic atmosphere, and incredibly friendly staff who always make you feel welcome.
Highly recommend for both record purchases and stereo equipment repair. Staff is so nice. Patrick took my father’s old turntable and cleaned and repaired it to full function. He always was upfront about costs and what was possible. We are now enjoying our old records on a turntable from my childhood! Thank you
