What customers say
Knowledgeable staff, nice finds. Large selection of bluegrass and rare classical- nice break from the hip limited edition reissue scene mixed with trendiest used records with discog price matching. Listening station to check quality. They can be a little late to open, so bring a book or something.
In these days of the declining retail music industry to be able to find an honest record store with a knowledgeable staff is nothing short of incredible. Their selection is good and their pricing is very reasonable. They are a little short in folk music (but I've never seen a place where that is anyones long suit).
An extremely pleasant surprise in the college town of Chapel Hill. Not only was the vinyl selection more up my alley than any shop i've been to (Squarepusher, Paranoid London, and Model 500 in a bible belt record store?!
Came in to town for a show @ Cat's Cradle. Visited this store on a Tuesday. Parking was a pain, but that should not sway you from checking out this gem. One of two vinyl shops in the area. Small and quaint with knowledgeable staff. Was able to find a rare Hip Hop album and a Soundtrack that has been eluding me.
