Talk about a hidden gem! This unsuspecting shop is packed to the brim with gorgeous art of all shapes, sizes, styles, and mediums. Jeff, the owner, cut me an amazing deal on a stunning Italian oil on canvas and print of the Kentucky Derby winner from my mother’s (a former jockey) birth year.
I have been to so many antique shops around town but this one is my new favorite! Jeff has such a cute little shop here. He is so knowledgeable and helped me pick the perfect pieces for my home. I got paintings from artists near and far and at an INCREDIBLE price.
Discovering this place was like finding buried treasure. I lived within walking distance of here for two years and never even heard of Pirate's Place until after I'd moved out. After finally taking a walk through... WOW. The atmosphere in this place is incredible, and the owner, Jeff, is pretty cool himself.
We came here originally to find some old Vinyls and ended up staying for a much longer time perusing everything this hidden gem had to offer. Countless unique pieces of art from around the world and even pieces by Jeff’s mother that are nearly priceless to him.
