I really enjoy if not love coming to this shop, especially when there's room enough to browse and chat with the shop staff. Chris is my fave. He's quiet but doesn't mind chatting about music and the Twin Cities scene with a chatty chick like myself.
A friend of mine recently introduced me to this little shop and I just adore it! I've been wanting a record player for a while now and received one from Amazon as a birthday gift. I was very disappointed with the sound quality of that one. So I returned it and went on the hunt for a higher-quality used one instead...
Stopped in on a Saturday and ended up spending a while looking through their great selection of vinyl records. I was looking for Christmas gifts and found quite a few records for others (along with a few records for myself).
I went the day after record day and it was amazing! I had to cut myself off, but I'm going back when I have extra money for records. It's extremely well organizing and clean, in fact, all albums are alphabetized! Which I imagine wasn't easy to do with the day after record store day!
