The perfect record store exists and it's in Fort Lauderdale or Oakland Park. Hey, I'm from Miami I barely leave my county, but We Got the Beats is worth the drive. In an unassuming strip mall you find the perfect mix of new, old, rock, hip-hop, jazz, used, and brand-new music.
Outstanding selection of new vinyl. The store's organization is a little hard to navigate, and CDs were nearly impossible to look through, but once you walk around for a while it starts to make sense. Overall prices were very fair, and in many cases much lower than other shops in the area.
