Friendly, fun and AMAZING coffee. We had Milli Vanilli and a custom drink that tasted like cinnamon toast crunch. The best coffee we have had in a very long time. Go here and nowhere else!
Wanted to support local so drove past Starbucks and popped in here. Jonathan greeted me right when I walked through the door, quickly made my two drinks and when I forgot and added a 3rd drink, he was great and did that one too with no complaining. Kept great conversation the whole time.
The Vinyl Cafe is a must visit in Ames. It has a ton of interesting records to flip through and look at. The owner/barista is awesome, friendly and attentive - wish I caught his name. There is some of the most uniquely crafted coffees you'll find here - I had a banana and hazelnut latte that tasted just like a banana.
