My favorite Ann Arbor record store by far!! Matt is a great guy and will always try to get me what I want. The prices are super fair especially for being a retail space in downtown Ann Arbor. Always a great atmosphere and a great place to spend some money.
Excellent selection of vinyl, all reasonably priced, especially compared to other record stores in SE Michigan. Records always come with dust covers, which I find to be a nice touch. The staff are very helpful and will order anything for you that isn't available off the shelf.
Underground Sounds is a gem. I wanted to shop locally for records but then I found myself coming back here specifically for the atmosphere and the staff. I could easily spend hours here chatting about music as the owner is quite knowledgeable about a range of music.
An excellent record store if you're looking for a great selection of new vinyl. There is a small used section that usually has some choice finds in the recent arrivals box too. They manage to stock a lot of limited presses and whoever chooses the general stock has great taste.
