What a pleasant surprise it was finding this gem of a store! I felt like I stepped out of a time machine as I flipped through bins and bins of records! Just like back in the day, only much more organized and cleaner than most record shops I’ve been in.
So… my daughter Rachel and I would see John every once in a while. We moved out of the lake worth area about five years ago and still tried to stop and see John when he was in. We always talk about John and how much we loved seeing him and talking with him.
A diamond in the rough, TOP FIVE is definitely in my top five for selection, service and definitely cool vibe. Since my visit earlier this year, I've been to several more record shops on trips and this one always comes back to mind.
I read the google reviews on Top Five and came to the conclusion that I just had to visit the shop. It's not hard to read between the lines when reading public reviews, you can sense the type of person who goes through life looking to be offended. Walking in the front door brought a smile to my face.
