Toast Records & Bakes

I was in town for a week and happened by this shop on my walk through downtown Durango. The store was nice, clean, and simple. It was well organized and everything was properly stored etc, etc.

Close Your Eyes, Point, and Find Outstanding Music. This store has 1/8 the selection of any of the better record stores in Denver...Quality over Quantity. As an audiophile I've seen my fair share of record stores (LP for Life). What makes Toast special is the musical sensibilities of the owner.

We came into Durango from Colorado Springs for a 4th of July weekend family getaway. While browsing the downtown area, we came upon this little gem! Not only did I have the same idea for a record store/bakeshop, but I was pleasantly surprised to find an awesome variety of alternative country and punk rock records!

This is a long overdue review. We’ve been getting treats from Kyra for like 3 years now? Legit, best treats Durango has to offer!!!
