The Fuzzy Needle Records & Books

Heard about Fuzzy Needle from the I N T E R N E T and thought it looked like something directly up my alley. It definitely was! We stopped in on two different days because the coffee shop was closed during our first visit. This is a lovely, calm space that's perfect for hanging out in.

This place was such a treat. I came in while exploring the Cargo District and there were already groups of people hanging out on the comfortable couches. This place sells secondhand books, records, shirts, and other knick knacks, and also has a tiny coffee bar inside.

The guys who run the Fuzzy Needle are awesome, friendly, and knowledgeable. They have a nice selection of records and used books, and their storefront in the Cargo District is bright and welcoming. They also occasionally put on lively events in-store. Go check them out next time you’re in the neighborhood!

Hip & homely. I always walk out with things I’m excited to listen to or read for the first time. Great staff, too. Fuzzy Needle Boys are the dork equivalent of Hooters Girls.
