I don't share any of the negative experiences or grievances that a few folks have expressed, especially as far as the owner is concerned. He's knowledgeable and very eclectic where his musical tastes are concerned. He's always been generous in the prices he offers for used goods brought into the store.
If you’re a musician or a vinyl collector in Lake Charles, The Emporium is an absolute goldmine. First off, the selection is top-tier. They carry a multi-genre mix of both brand-new and vintage records that are clearly curated with care. But for the gearheads, the real draw is the musical equipment.
The coolest vinyl place in town with cool vibes, great customer service, and a HUGE selection of vintage vinyls and the sickest t-shirts!! The new location on Common Street has so many vinyls, antiques, & cool tees to shop through too plus so much more!!
Great store to just go and talk about music and buy some records. Staff is really helpful and cool. One of my favorite places to go in a town with nothing to do!
