Sunset Records

By far the best record store I’ve stepped into on my trip to the east coast.. and I’ve gone to the best rated shops from Portland, Maine, down to the cape, and finally to my final and favorite store Sunset. Ran by the outstanding man that is Bob this store is an absolute must stop for any vinyl lovers in the area.

Literally no record shop owner cares about music and his customers as much as Bob. I've been dropping into Sunset since I was in high school. In the past 25 years I've made many a purchase of some classics, a fair share of rare gems, and more than a handful of gambles.

Bob is the man! I have been going to sunset Records for a long time and have never been disappointed. Prices are outstanding, even in this crazy time when vinyl prices are out of control. Bob is just a great guy and has a great knowledge of music. He is very friendly and helpful.

Bob is a super cordial dude, and has an endless knowledge of bands and stories of musicians he has met through the years. He helps you find what you are looking for in a heartbeat. The place has everything organized and priced fair unlike other places that have ridiculously mark ups. Can’t wait to visit again!
