I stumbled upon Static Tape a month ago via their Instagram post about an incredible Illinois VHS collection, and after reaching out, the owner, Harrison, made my two online purchases seamless and enjoyable.
This place is AMAZING! They have a side that is games and music, and another side that is Movies and hardware. For movies they have new items from Arrow, Vinegar Syndome, etc. They also have great vintage selection with VHS and Beta as well. The employees know their stuff.
I went for the $1 VHS section, which I grossly underestimated and will need a return trip to fully peruse. But what really caught me off guard was the incredible retro videogame collection! An OEM Dreamcast rumble pack and several OEM VMUs for actual market rate!?!
