Went in on a whim while in Greensboro for work. But of all of the shops I visited that day in Greensboro and Winston-Salem it was by far the best pound for pound store of them all. You could tell he was in a new space and not all of his stuff was out yet but what he had out was all killer and no filler.
Owner is very cool and knowledgeable about all music. Excellent selection of old school R&B. Solid hip-hop selection. He also sells record players. When I thought I was having a problem with the player I bought, he told me to bring it back. I did. Turns out it was not the player at all and he didn't charge me.
Totally awesome place. The owner Harley was super friendly and helpful and I was able to pick up a few LPs I never see in other record stores. They also have by far the best R&B and soul selection in town. I felt welcomed and will most definitely return in the future!
