Sorry State Records

I should have made this review months ago, but I was followed by a man while walking back to my car past this shop. I was shopping here earlier and ran back to the store with him running behind me and walked in the store panicking.

If you’re into old school punk, this place is a goldmine. Tucked away in downtown Raleigh, it’s got serious character and even better records. The selection is deep—tons of classic punk, & rare finds! They also have a really awesome newsletter. Jeff & Usman were super knowledgeable and friendly.

I went through the two bins near the checkout desk. These were discounted records well under $5. I found an Alan Parsons Project record. I don't usually buy a record just for one song, but it was only $3. It has the single 'Eye in The Sky'. The Employee their had no problem showing me the record; and I can see why.

Awesome record shop especially for punk/indie/emo lovers like myself. Found two of the coolest PUP 7” flexi discs with zines!! Definitely will be back and highly recommend!
