What customers say
This is the record shop Dayton’s been needing for quite some time. The type of shop you’d discover in Chicago, Asheville, or New Orleans. Where the weird feel at home and you’re not flipping through 200 musty covers of junk nobody wants you’d find for $0.85 at a thrift store.
The new location is beautiful and relaxing! Dayton funk vinyl playing when walked in made me feel at home. The owner Luke always has something new in the store and gives great advice on record care and is a genuinely great person! Even if you don't like vinyl records, he has cds, tapes and books.
One of the best curations in Ohio — my partner and I make sure to stop by every time we are visiting. Luke is incredibly considerate and generous with his customers and keeps a steady pulse on a variety of genres. This shop is an absolute gem in Dayton.
This record store is definitely worth a visit. It is located in the up and coming Fire Blocks District in Downtown Dayton where a lot of progressive improvements have been happening lately, with new independent shops and restaurants opening.
