What customers say
What an absolute GEM! Sit and Spin is one of those shops that cater to actual collectors: a well curated stock + reasonable (if not great bargain) pricing in a condensed location that really stokes your desire to dig.
I have been to Sit & Spin just shy of 10 times. It would be even more if I lived closer, but nonetheless I make it a point to go when I am in Philly or will even make a special trip just to go record hunting. They have some of the best selection of punk and hardcore around. Lots of original pressings too!
Easily my favorite store ever. The staff were extremely nice and more than happy to assist. They have the best punk/metal selection of vinyls and shirts anywhere within a couple hours of me that I know of. I found some very rare records I have been looking for for literally years at awesome prices.
Okay this place is super dope. They had my Nebula/Lowrider split on colored vinyl and it wasn’t a hundred bucks. But you see that sticker? Impossible to get the backing off that guy. Still, overall, a record store that rules, and I know because I worked in every cool 80s record store.
