Visiting Chicago from out of town last weekend, we went to a few record stores. Signal Records was BY FAR my favorite experience. It could have been dangerous for me if I had more time and more money. It was a SUPER well organized store with several specific sub-genres in their own sections.
I’ve been coming here weekly for about 2 years. This place has the best hands down selection of dance music at realistic prices. The staff is super accommodating, and there is a great mix of rarer and obscure vinyl genres (punk, metal, industrial, experimental) etc.
